This course provides the opportunity to develop the underpinning knowledge and skills that will prepare you for employment within the building industry as a Bricklayer.

You will learn a broad range of bricklaying skills and techniques that make you attractive to employers in the Construction industry. You will develop your practical skills and knowledge through a range of units and learn how to construct a range of building projects.

1 Week Beginner's Course in Bricklaying

Our one week course is ideal if you want to learn some basic hands on bricklaying skills for DIY purposes, or gain an insight into the bricklaying industry with a view to progressing on to further skills or funded, accredited learning. It is made up of stand-alone modules so you can decide what to do.

2 Week Intermediate Course in Bricklaying

This course will provide you with an introduction to working in the construction industry with a full health and safety induction followed by hands on practical training in building block, brick and cavity walls. It is ideal for beginners to bricklaying and those that have some DIY experience.

4 Week Advanced Course in Bricklaying

Our advanced bricklaying course will develop your skills beyond basic brick and block work as you learn to build isolated and attached piers and a range of masonry structures. It is ideal if you are looking to pursue a career as a bricklayer or builder and have or no previous experience.
